Evening Facial; Sanctuary Spa

Recently whilst on a little shopping trip to Glasgow to catch-up with a school friend, we popped into Boots as I was looking to add something to my skincare routine as my skin had been a little lacklustre recently and was becoming very uneven in texture. I came across a brand of skincare I had never heard of before called Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden, currently only stocked in Boots and Debenhams. I first picked up the Therapists Secret Facial Oil in order to try and inject a little more moisture into my skin and smooth out the texture. Then, on a separate trip to Boots in St Andrews when I came back up to Uni a week later I decided to try the 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask as I had left my normal Elemis Herbal Lavender Mask at home by accident.

And I am so glad that I did. This has now become my new favourite facial combo. I like to give myself a face mask twice a week roughly in order to keep my skin completely clean of all the dirt and grime (I am definitely guilty of not removing my makeup after a night out despite being told countless times how bad it is for my skin.)

I prep my skin by using my trusted Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish then the Liz Earle Exfoliator, and then it's time for the mask. I had never tried a warming mask before and to be honest was pretty sceptical about it. However it did not feel like my skin was burning in the slightest it was a lovely and relaxing sensation. Afterwards I could see where some of the dirt had been lifted as I had visibly reduced blackheads around my nose and cheeks. After gently wiping it off with a muslin cloth, I took three drops of the facial oil and massaged it gently all oer my face. Instantly you can feel the difference in skin texture, as my skin now feels much softer and plumper. It gives my skin a lovely radiant glow as well and although it doesn't mention this on the packaging, has actually helped reduce some of the scarring on the sides of my temples from when I suffered from acne a few years ago. As I like to do my face-masks in the evening and not straight before I go to bed, I often use my Liz Earle Moisturiser just before I go to sleep to give added hydration.

Let me know some of your favourite facial oils in the comments as it's a product which I am really enjoying using and would love to investigate a little more!
