Student Life?

I feel like starting another blog post with an apology about my lack of blogging is just pre-empting a pattern which I do not wish to continue. However, the past few weeks really have been crazy! Full of typical student activities; dinners, balls, parties all with a little bit of revision squeezed in. However it is now well and truly exam season. With one out of three exams sat, I cannot wait for it all to be over.

Recently I got an email to say that I had been placed in Bavaria next year as an English language assistant and I could not be more excited. It was my number one choice of region and I feel so lucky to be heading there in September. The lure of fairytale castles and weekend hikes through the Black Forest are proving extremely distracting from the monotony of my current revision routine.

As the end of exams promises yet more dinners, balls and far too many goodbyes, I cannot quite believe how quickly this year has gone. Perhaps I will write a proper reflection on the year soon as it truly has been incredible. Friendships from first year have been cemented and so many crazy adventures have been had.

I'm starting to really look forward to going home this Summer and getting back into my daily working routine. I love spending time with my family and I am so lucky that so many of my relatives live so nearby and that I absolutely love my job. Student life is incredible don't get me wrong, but the thought of not having to structure my day around trips to the library or cafes in order to use their wifi (ours at home has been broken for four weeks now but let's just gloss over that) is really quite appealing.

I've attached some photographs to this post, mainly as a reminder for myself when I read back through this blog of some of the amazing memories which have been made these past few weeks.

As there seems to be no real point to this post other than a nice little round up and check-in, I will end my ramble here. Two weeks left till the freedom of Summer. 14 days. Not that I am counting....

Struggling to take a nice photograph pre-ball. My dress is from Missguided if you are wondering and my friends on the right is from ASOS.
